Carbon Reduction Policy
Q. Definition of Carbon Footprint (The Carbon Trust)
A. The total set of greenhouse gas emissions caused directly and indirectly by an (individual, even, organisation, product) expressed as CO2e.
Our mission is to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy. We do this by being a catalyst for low carbon enterprise in the following areas.
Administration
1. We aim to operate a papers less office, where emails and documents including invoices and marketing are not printed unless absolutely necessary.
2. Through the use of recycled paper and printing inks where required.
Driving Strategy
1. To limit the need for wasted travelling by maximising the use of the vehicles operated.
2. To ensure through training that the team of chauffeurs drive the vehicles to the lowest carbon usage by improving their smooth and efficient use.
3. To reduce the idling of the engine whilst stationary.
Office Facility
1. Turning off electrical appliances and equipment when not in use.
2. The general recycling of every day packing waste.
